Finally I got the access to new Microsoft’s AI, just in time to research information about my new idea.

I was reading about different consensus methods for blockchain and Proof of Reputation (PoR) caught my attention. This can be used to improve the survivability and monetization of a possible eSports platform.

After I read about the last shut down of platforms (you can read here) maybe this can be a good idea to implement for ensure a secure and sustainable way to manage the non-pro eSports scene.

Giving authority to different nodes owned by staff (platform) or creators (partners) where they can vote for add new node in a democratic way (majority) and in rotation verify the blocks.

Nodes owned by platform will earn less but they will have more vote power, partners will earn more but with limited vote power.

You can put the entire platform on blockchain, structured to be stored into MongoDB (for example) and create NFTs and micro-app that can run on it for entertain and monetize the community without relay on external sources (sponsor etc.)

I used Bing AI to discuss with it about this idea and find weakness and strength of this idea.

We defined also the term gamerverse™ where users (players?) can use NFTs generated on a custom blockchain compatible with Ethereum protocol.

Standards table generated by Bing AI

The challenges are a lot, starting from implementing a secure and reliable core where store data to creating a usable NFTs that can attract and be used on app that run on gamerverse™ protocol.

But why PoR? Because like is written here, it is an upgraded, stronger, and more secure form of Proof of Authority (POA). It uses a semi-centralized method to validate blocks that allow to have faster issuing rate and less consumption.

In general I can say Bing AI is more powerful than chatGPT mainly thank to live access to internet search (and Bing archive?) but the limits imposed after the issues in the first period of use limited a lot the capabilities on a long discussion.

Like the OpenAI counterpart is very useful when you want learn / research and when you use as assistant to speed up your workflow 👍

I’ll continue study this new web3 eSports community idea, for now, see you in the next one!
